Sooo… I’ve got something to tell you! It should be no surprise considering I made an entire post about it, BUTTTTTT in case you missed it, I decided to take my talents back to the dating apps. Yay me! I decided to download OkayCupid and Hinge because those are the two safest bets for me (even though Hinge is still OD sketchy).
Things with OkayCupid began to overwhelm me quickly and I was like nah I can’t get jiggy with all of these messages and notifications at one time. It sounds crazy, like the entire point of using dating apps is to talk and get to know people, but I wasn’t ready to swim in the big pond yet. An ex of a former friend of mine (OD close like close, close) liking and messaging me was the final straw. I deleted the app…
While I broke things off with OkayCupid quicker than I’ve ever curved a guy IRL, things between Hinge and I are still going steady. Much to my liking, the engagement is coming in a little bit slower so it’s not as overwhelming. Since I complained so much about missing companionship etc… in my previous post, I’m gonna try to stick it out for at least until the end of March. Who knows what can happen between now and then, but I’m excited and most important, I’m wide open to all of the possibilities. So let’s see what happens!! I’m sure I’ll be back with an update about the shenanigans sooner than later. Also
I know. I know. This post is short AF, but don’t worry. I’ll be back within the next few days to spill all the tea on the most disastrous, embarrassing situationship I’ve been in (let’s just say I’m surprised I managed to live to talk about. LOL!) Don’t worry, I’m being hella dramatic (as per ush), but chileee it was some mess! So be on the look out for that!
