Hey y’all. Just wanted to pop in quickly and say thank you for all of the calls, texts and dms about the last post. It means the world that you all have been so supportive of me sharing such personal, intimate and embarrassing details about a really hard time in my life. So many of you have shared your similar stories and I’m so honored that you felt comfortable enough to share some of the hardest moments in your lives as well. I can’t lie, I was hella resistant initially, but as cliché as it sounds, sharing your tough times will inspire others to find comfort in their own and that’s what this post did.
There were so many times as I was writing that I’d stop and consider the worst possible outcome of me telling my story, but ultimately it didn’t matter. We’ve always been a tight knit community here at TYTB, but the way y’all showed up and showed out for me and yourselves? We’re family forever!
I’ll be back to my regular nonsense sometime this week. I’m still getting reacquainted with Hinge and the men on there, but of course I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a story to tell. Stay tuned!
